There are a few popular sites that let you do this, but Hootsuite comes highly recommended. They have free and premium versions, give you unlimited scheduled posts and social media profiles and make it easy to keep up with communications. By using Hootsuite, you don’t have to keep logging in to your Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and other sites throughout the day. Their tools take all the guesswork out of the scheduling.
How to Schedule Social Media Posts
Start by getting organized with what you want to post. Next, make sure you are posting different types of updates and not only self promotion. Try to stick to 10 percent self promotion and 90 percent everything else. Mix it up throughout the day with things like linking to your blog, announcing a new event with your business or product launch, linking to other related sites that are interesting, sharing a fun image or amusing video, or anything else relevant. This helps you get your posts scheduled but also varied.
